Timber frame
Timber frame panels from the plan you received.
The same Stud model that gives you the quantities becomes timber frame panels: studs, plates, headers, joists and rafters, panel by panel. You check them in 3D, then take them out as IFC and production PDFs with the Framer plan.
What does Stud frame in timber?
- Wall panels with studs, plates, headers and sills, in the sections you set
- Floor joists and roof rafters
- Wall layers (sheathing, insulation between studs) with their m²
- Timber weights and quantities per level and in total
Steel or timber, from the same model
The 3D model does not depend on the structural system. Once the volumes are right, you choose: light gauge steel, timber frame, or concrete block quantities. You can price a job in both systems before you decide.
